Climate Change

Climate Change: The Debate

Many Countries today are switching to renewable energy resources. Countries like Paraguay, Iceland and Norway are leading the way in using renewable energy and producing more than 98% of electricity while also saving the environment. So, are they the future?

Renewable energy can be generated in various forms and with advancements, the cost of these energy sources is decreasing. Moreover, the popularity of these sources is leading more countries to invest in these energy sources. However, not all countries are fortunate enough to use these energy sources to their full potential. Brazil, for instance, capitalizes on their natural resources very well, while other countries struggle to do so. For some renewable technologies, their use remains controversial and ‘green status’ somewhat questionable.

Consider this: To what extent is renewable energy the solution for the world’s increasing need for energy?
