Cloud Computing: Possible Solutions

While many companies have made the decision to repatriate their assets from the public cloud to a private cloud, the decision is not entirely “either/or” prospect. Today’s companies have many different types of cloud computing to choose from. In many cases, the ideal solution is a hybrid cloud deployment, which combines the security and control of a private cloud with the scalability and resources of a public cloud. Multi-cloud architecture also provides a great deal of flexibility to meet a variety of computing needs. By working with the rich connectivity options and versatile network environment of a colocation data centre, companies can build customized solutions that address their biggest concerns and deliver their most pressing needs.

Although cloud technologies will continue to be an important part of IT strategy in the future, many companies are moving away from purely public cloud-based networks. Given the variety of cloud computing solutions available today, there is no reason to settle for a strategy that does not meet all an organization’s business needs. Colocation data centres may present the most versatile choice for companies, but larger organizations may also consider the benefits of a strictly on-premises enterprise solution as well.
